Carole Fiola to be sworn in as State Representative of the 6th Bristol District, September 25, 2013

FALL RIVER/FREETOWN, MA (September 23, 2013) – Carole Fiola, State Representative-Elect of the 6th Bristol District, will be sworn in on September 25 at noon at the State House in Boston.

Fiola, a Democrat who won the special general election on September 10, will replace former State Representative David Sullivan who resigned last spring to become the Executive Director of the Fall River Housing Authority.

Fiola expressed excitement about the job ahead and commitment to the constituents’ interests in the district. “I am honored and humbled to begin my work representing the people of this district,” said Fiola. “I look forward to joining my colleagues and working tirelessly for the people of Fall River and Freetown.”
